LEGO®-based therapy for children who build, imagine and connect through play

A structured social communication group for children aged 6 to 11, developed and run by speech pathologists and occupational therapists trained in LEGO®-Based Therapy principles.

Building a LEGO set together at a table

Your child may love LEGO®, but shared play can still be tricky when communication, flexibility, regulation or peer interaction feel hard.

This isn't about forcing social performance

The goal is to build safety, confidence and capacity through a motivating shared interest. For many children, connecting is easier when there's something meaningful to do together: LEGO® gives a shared focus, clear roles, visual structure and a playful way to practise communication without pressure to perform.

How it works

  • Children start with individual sessions, where we get to know their strengths and support needs
  • A small, supported group may be offered when clinically appropriate
  • Sessions are led by Kate, an occupational therapist who has completed formal training in LEGO®-Based Therapy, with speech pathology support
